A tribute to our Mum
A Home With an Open Door

Mum lived her faith with her hands. A devoted Christian, she loved God quietly and served people fully — with a full pot, an open door and a warm embrace.
She was a devoted mother to her own children and to countless others who were not born to her but were raised by her all the same. To many families she was a pillar: the one you called, the one who came, the one who stayed.
Whoever came through her gate was welcomed. She fed you, clothed you, made sure you were bathed and rested, and let you go only when you were ready — never once asking for anything in return. Many have passed through her hands and her home. Many have tasted her cooking and left fuller than they came, in body and in spirit.
She made everyone feel safe. That was her gift. That was our Mum.
Rest now, Mum. Your work is done, and the love you served will keep feeding us — until the resurrection morning.
